Holiday season
It was a month after I had been born, I remember my mom telling me they bought a whole bunch Holiday books such as Frosty the snowman, she said I giggled at that book the most. -
My Grandmother telling stories about Jingle bells
My grandmother loved telling stories to me, she usually read a children's book to herslef then read the story to me like she made it up.Her favorite was Jingle Bells -
My dad liked to read comics
My dad usually read small pamplets to me. and sometimes comic books. I was too small to remember but he had thousands of them. -
say hello to daycare
My parents put me in daycare so that they could work. I loved going to day care to interact with the other kids and I also loved story time. It was my favorite. -
1st day of school
I was very excited to go to school and learn to read just like my parents read to me -
Dr. Seuss
This was one of the first books my teacher Mrs.Lane read to me. I think it was my favorite becasue it was so funny -
Learning to read
I started to learn how to read around this time. -
going to the 1st grade
It was the first grade and I could actually read small books, such as the ginger bread man. I loved that book but it always made me hungry. -
My siblings
By this time I had two younger siblings a sister and a brother that I loved to read to. My facorite book to read to them was Green eggs and Ham by Dr.suess. -
Reading to my friends
I was in 2nd grade and by this time i was staying in after school care until my parnets got off work. we would always have story time where you would bring your favorite book and read to your friends. I had a ton of Junie B. Jones books so I brought a different one each time. This always made me happy -
Summer camp
My mom put me in a summer reading program at boys and girls club. It was so fun. Me and all my friends would play games and read to each other all the time. We went to the library once a week and picked out a new book read each time. -
third grade teacher Mrs.Jackson
I met my facorite teacher in third grade. She read so well and taught me how to read better. she comforted me when I didnt know certain words. My favorite book she read to me was Cinderella. -
Halloween time
Mrs. Jackson told my class that if we decorated her room for us she would take the whole trick or treating and read us the new book that just came out, Goosebumps by R.L Stine. We were all excited. -
Moving to Desoto for fouth grade
I was sad to be moving from my old school especially away from Mrs. jackson but we had moved into a new city and home where I would be going to a school called Cockrhill elemtary. -
last day of fourth grade
I had really enjoyed my fourth grade year at my new school. I had met alot of new friends read many books, and even had my own library card at the Desoto Library. I had a great year and even my Old teacher Mrs.Jackson surprised me for lunch and new books a few times. That was a great school year
