    By the end of the first month, the embryo is about 1/10 of an inch long. The heart which is no larger than a poppy seed, has begun beating.
  • Two Months

    The embryo is about 1 inch long and has distinct, slightly webbed fingers. Veins are clearly visible. The heart has divided into right and left chambers.
  • Three Months

    Three Months
    Now the fetus is 2 1/2 to 3 inches long and is fully formed.
  • Fourth Month

    Fourth Month
    Your baby is now covered with a thick layer of hair called lanugo. Their heart beat is clear, this is when you may feel your baby's first kick.
  • Fifth Month

    Fifth Month
    During the fifth month a protective layer called vernix caseosa begins to form on the baby's skin. At the end of this month the baby will be almost 8inches and weigh almost a pound.
  • Sixth Month

    Sixth Month
    Eyebros and eyelids are visible now. The baby's lungs is now filled with amniotic fluid and they have started breathing motions. They can also hear you when you talk of sing.
  • Seventh Month

    Seventh Month
    At the end of seventh month, your baby weighs about 3 1/2 pounds and is about 12 inches long. Fingernails are begining to form on the fingertips.
  • Eighth Month

    Eighth Month
    At this point the baby is gaining about a half a pound per week. The baby now weighs between 4 and 6 pounds.
  • Nine Months

    Nine Months
    Your baby now weighs 6 to 9 pounds and measures 19 to 22 inches.He became crowed so he may move less.
  • Infant 1-6 months

    Physical Skills-they can begin to flip and flop, life their heads, hold on to stuff, they can also rollover, muscles are also growing
    Intellectual Skills-they react to color, shape and voices, they also cry why they need something.
    Social Skills-They cam babble/talk and play with other children
  • Babies 6-12 months

    Physical Skills-they start eating food, starting to sit up, pick up things, they can start drinking from a cup
    Intellectual Skills-start talking, they also like to put things in their mouth
    Social Skills-they are able to recgonize when their name is called, become attached to things such as parents, or toys.
  • Toddlers 12-24 months

    Physical Skills-they begin to push and pull toys, they can catch balls,climb steps they also learn to walk
    Intellectual Skills-touch everything, say short words,they learn where stuff is located, they also enjoy picture books
    Social Skills-pays attention to others,parallel play and coorerative play
  • Toddlers 2-3 years

    Toddlers 2-3 years
    Physical Skills-start talking in short sentences, they begin to push and pull things, they become potty trained
    Intellectual Skills-they start pointing at stuff
    Social Skills-they tend to say more words, they love to play with others
  • Preschoolers 3-4 years

    Physical Skills-running,jumping,potty trained,drawing and painting,dress themselves
    Intellectual Skills-speak in sentences,sing alot, love to dress up
    Social Skills-Dress up,pretend friends
