A street brawl happened in Boston between American and British soldiers known as Boston Massacre.

British Parliament passed the Tea Act which allowed British East India Company to sell tea to the colonies duty-free and cheaper than other tea companies.

That night a group of memebers from The Sons of Liberty disguised themselves in Native American and boarded the docked ships and threw 342 chests of tea into the water. The chests held more than 90,000 lbs. of tea and it would be equivalent to nearly $1,000,000 dollars today.
