Exposition 1 background
Christopher family moves from a fancy house in New Mexico to Rhode Island. Savvy is 6' 2'' and growing. Savvy is in 7th grade and she wants to try out for the 18u basketball team. Her dad was a pro golfer but he broke his neck in an inccident. They all have a house with Savvy's aunt Betty. Callie is the younger sister. She is always playing the victim part (tring to get sympathy). -
exposition 2 setting
They live on a sheep farm in Rhode Island. The weather is warm now because its in July. There are lots of coyotes that live there and they are a really big problem for the Christophers. They kill alot of sheep. -
Exposition 3 characters
Savvy Christopher meets Gonzo. They turn out to be friends and both make the 18u team together. savvy can take exellent shots and Gonzo is really fast. Callie is Savvy's younger sister. She likes to cheerlead but she has gained much weight lately. -
Rising action 1-conflict
Savvy's aunt Betty was up in the middle of the night with a shotgun and a broken leg. She was looking for a coyote. In the hospital, a blood clot got in the spot of the broken leg. She started to get very weak and could have died. -
rising action2
Callie tried out for cheerleading but she was too heavy. She tried to lose weight so she could join the team. Later, Savvy saw Callie pull a hair from her face and noticed that her voice started to get hoarser. -
Rising action3
Savvy meets a boy named Marc Sardakis. He plays a game of horse with her. Marc really likes Callie but gets to her through Savvy. -
Period: to
October
During October, most of the steroid scandle that happened to Savvy was going on. -
rising action4
The team that Savvy is on, "Fire" is playing their rival team "Power" During the game Savvy is called to the locker room. Someone found pills in Savvy's bag. The pills were steroids! Savvy never took steroids though so she was framed. -
RisIng ActIon 5
Savvy gets a blood test to make sure that she did(nt) take steroids. The police, parets of Savvy and team parents all try to find out the truth about the steroid scandle. -
RISING ACTION 6
Savvy blames Marc. Marc dumps Callie and stays away from the family. Callie will not talk to anyone beside her friends. -
CLimax
Savvy's blood tests came in, they turned out negative. That meant that she was not on steroids! The only problem then was, someone had framed her. -
Falling action 1
Savvy and Callie's parents decide to leave to go on a vacation. That left both girls by themselves.
At the same time, Savvy starts basketball again (she was suspended because of the steroid thing) She plays while on the side lines, the girls from Power chant BALCO-HO. -
Falling action 2
Savvie knew that BALCO was a hage steroid scandle that was welll known. She got home and lookedup the type of steroids found in her bag. They have side effects like, hoarsness of the voice, weight loss, sudden facial hair and other manly changes.
Then she thought of Callie... -
Falling action 3
When Callie got home, Savvy took her to the porch. She said "I know" Savvy wanted to have Callie confess to their parents and the police. Callie runs away in the night but showed up the next morning. Savvie called mom to tell her to come back. -
Resolution 1
Callie admits the truth to everyone in her family and the police. Her family is in shame. Now they try to find out how she got them. Callie sais that it was a friend who got it from a runner at a gym but she is not sure. -
Resolution 2
Callie was so shaken that she quit school, gets Aunt Betty as a tutor, and would not come out of her bed or talk to anyone.
Then, Savvy apologizes to Marc and he forgives her. -
Resolution 3
Callie has found a new school. It is different than her old school.
While the Christophers are gathered around the Christmas tree, Savvy gives Callie a present. They are golf clubs for Callie because she quit cheering. Now the family is back to normal again.
