    Isabella doesn''t like to get along with others , she doesn't really like people because they annoy her. Isabella was very lonely so she decided she would like to overcome this, she wanted to start communicating and listening to others.

    isabella set a goal to become more social with other people. She looked for support groups that could help with this problem. She will try to achieve this goal by going to her support group 3 times a week where she can talk about her problems and listen to others problems.
  • Stressing

    Isabella still goes to her support group but she has been full of stress lately because she has final exams coming up. Isabella has headaches and high blood pressure due to her stress. She copes with her stress by taking deep breathes and laughing with her friends from her support group. These coping skills releaved her of her stress.
  • Concerned

    Isabella finds out that her best friend from her support group, ashley started drinking on the weekends. Some affects Isabella is concered about are the affects on ashely's body because of alcohol such as heart damage and blood pressure. Isabella is also worried that alcohol will make ashely more likey to contract an STD. She is also more likely to be in violent crimes. And finally ashely is at risk of becoming an addictive user because she drinks every weekend which is not a good decision.

    Loss of a loved one
    Isabella's little sister past away this mornig while she was at school. The moment she found out isabella was in denial she absoultuely couldn't believe that her only sibling had past away she felt numb. After a week Isabella fell under emotional release meaning she finally understood that her sister really did die and all she could do was cry and cry. Eventually Isabella went through all of the stages of grief but denial and emotinal release affected her the most.

    Both of Isabella's parents have heart diseases, she now realizes that she must start to eat healtheir.
    Now that isabella is eating healtheir she is at a lower risk from stroke, certain cancers, type two diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
  • Smoking

    Isabella's aunt mary starts smoking again. Isabella is concerned about her health because smoking causes long term effects. Three long term effects are lung cancer, a weakend immune system, and coronary heart disease.
  • Taking the keys away

    Isabella was about to leave a party with her best friend until she found out that ashely was drunk and so she took the keys away from her. The two things Isabella tells ashely that changed her mind about drinking and driving are that injuries or death may come to her and that she can get serious jail time, a police record and possible lawsuits.

    Isabella is sick with the flu. Three things she can do to treat it are getting plenty of rest, drink liquids, and have proper nutrition.Three tings she will do next year to be more catious and try to prevent the flu are washing her hands regularly, getting a flu vaccination, and being cautious about direct and indirect conatct from other people who are sick.
  • Puberty begins

    Isabella starts puberty and the first mental/emotional change that happen is the cerebrum starts to increase memory and cognition. Another change is Isabella will start to become emotinally independent which includes her values and sense of self.
  • Abstinence

    Abstinence
    Isabella pledges to stay abstinent. He parents give her three tips on being abstinent. The first one is be clear about your decision to practice abstinence, and discuss it with them when she needs to talk about it. The second is practice refusal skills. And last but not least avoid people who make fun of your decisions.
