  • French and Indian war

    French and Indian war
    The French and Indian war started 1754 – 1763. The war ended with the treaty of Paris in 1763.The war had some of the greats in it was the French colonists, and their Native allies against Great Britain, the American colonists, and the Iroquois Confederacy all had a part in 9 year war. The war connected to the birth of the U.S. because it happened on the land and it gave the English control over most of North America. The war was expensive. They tried to impose taxes on the colonist.
  • The Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act
    In 1764 the Sugar Act was passed to sell a lot of sugar to everyone to pay a chunk of the military expenses in North America.The Sugar Act lowered the price in attempts to stop smuggling. The act also made it so that Americans can export and import things that they needed such as lumber, iron, skins, and many more things that they needed for the different seasons. The Sugar Act also connected to the birth of the U.S by earning money for the military in the U.S which would protect the people.

     The Stamp Act
    The stamp act was imposed on all American colonists and made them pay a tax on every piece of printed paper they used. It taxed on all materials printed for everything used in the colonies. Colonist often protested against this act because they felt like it violated there freedom. The Stamp Act connected to the birth of the U.S by American Revolution Hoping to raise funds to defend the new American territories won from the French in the Seven Years War.

    The Declaration Of Independence is known as 4th of July, when many people set fireworks out. The Declaration of independence has a huge connection to the birth of the U.S by giving us human rights. These following rights are what the DOI states in plain text, All men are created free and equal and possess the same inherent, natural rights. This is what makes America different from all of the other country's that are out there, this is America land of the free and home of the brave.

    The Constitution becomes supreme law of the land
    The Bill Of Rights is similar to the constitution and they put philosophers ideas into play to see how it would work out to benefit or to not benefit. Then the Constitution decided to become the supreme law of the land, and it changed to the "states fundamental" law this has helped birth the U.S in many ways it set a path of rules for people to follow if they want to keep there rights and live here but also didn't give as much power to one man.
