After WWII is over, Berlin is separated into 4 sections. The 3 countries in the west are the American, British, and French. The one country in the east is the Soviet.

After the separation of Berlin, an interzonepass was needed to cross the sections of Berlin. This pass was only good for a span of 30 days.

Berlin is pulled apart into two different zones of currency (Money).

June 24 is the launch of the Berlin blockade. The Soviet Union tried to block the western side of Berlin from coming over to their controlled side.

The teaming of the British and U.S. airlift broke the blockade, coming to end of the Berlin Blockade.

West Germany establishes itself as a Federal Republic.

East Germany establishes itself as a Democratic Republic.

East Berlin workers who were building the wall revolt against the added working hours.

West Berlin no longer needed Interzonepass. The Soviet Union didn't need it either.

Citizens of East Germany still needed authorization to cross into the West.

If Eastern's left without authorization they would be prosecuted and sentenced to up to three years of prison.

The said border between the East and West Berlin is shut down and blockades are created instead.

The closing of the Brandenburg Gate.

West Berlin closed every place where it was possible to cross over into the East side.

The block between East and West Berlin is lifted. Berliners may now, for the first time in over two years, travel between the two opposing sides.

Ronald Reagan, the U.S president during this time, goes to Berlin and convinces the Soviet Union side (East) of Berlin to take down the Berlin wall.

The Hungarian government decides to open the border between their two countries so that refugees from the East Germans may leave for safety.

The Berlin Wall is finally opened again after years of separation between the East and West.

After being closed for over eight years the Brandenburg Gate is reopened.

The opposing sides of Germany are reunified. This whole timeline takes place from May 8th, 1945 all the way up to October 3rd, 1990.
