The Stamp Act was one of the taxes put on the new settlers from England causing the settlers to thrive for freedom. -

This was an important event because it showed England that we weren't going to put up with the way they treated us. -

This was the first group of citizens to sit down and create laws. -

This was important because without it we wouldn't have freedom from Britain. -
