    Boston Massacre50 English colonials decided to retaliate against British soldiers by twowing snowballs, sticks, and stones; so back up was called. The colonials decided to keep fighting back, so soldiers shot into the crowd and killed 3 people immediately while injuring 8 (2 later died from their injuries).
    Later, town hall meeting was held that accused Captain Thomas Preston (the head soldier), and some of his men of murder, and were later aquitted of their crimes, but later 2 were charged for manslaughter

Paul Revere and other riders sounded the alarm, and colonial militiamen began mobilizing to intercept the Redcoat column. A confrontation on the Lexington town green started off the fighting, and soon the British were hastily retreating under intense fire
