    Auguste Comte made huge contributions when stamped Sociology as the science of human behavior/society. By analyzing the evolution of human thinking and its stages. HIs major work "Positive Philosophy" was developed while hospitalized for roughly 15 years. According to Comte human thinking has three stages Theological, or fictitious stage. Metaphysical or abstract stage. Lastly, the positive or scientific stage. Comte devoted his life to sociology earning the title of the Father of Sociology.
