    Gathering voice about communication in our community as an open evening. Reflection on the findings.
  • Community voice 2

    Gather voice about communication using Survey Monkey. Email parents. Analysis findings with face-to-face findings.
  • Principal consent

    Arrange a meeting with the Principal for consent of our innovation.
  • Principal and Hub 1 teacher's perspectives

    Invite Principal to the first part of our Hub meeting. Inform them of our implementation plan and innovation with an overview of backed up pedagogical research.
  • Who?

    Identify our key stakeholders of Year 6 target children. Who will fit the criteria of early adopters and early majorities? Who would make a great first follower?
  • Confirmation of target children

    Present Hub 1 teachers with our chosen group of Year 6 children. Do they agree with our decision? Why/why not? Adapt accordingly.
  • Informing about the trial & Pre data

    Inform our stakeholders about our innovation and the purpose behind it.
    Pre-data: Perspectives from stakeholders. Student and teacher voice, perspectives on learning and reflections. Use GoogleForms.
  • Scaffold learning criterias and next learning steps

    Check in on individual student's next learning steps for writing, to make sure they know what they are and where to next.
    Scaffold and focus on what reflecting is and some of the questions we can use for reflective thinking. Model and apply where opportunities arise.
  • Gather evidence of reflections

    Children to write a reflection on paper once learning is completed.
    Record a second reflection using a digital tool eg Flipgrid.
    Compare the 2 different reflections. What do they tell us?
  • Set up SCRUM and Trello

    Assign tasks to one another to collaborate and manage in a timely manner.
  • First Blog Entry

    First entry using Edublog including sample of learning and peer and teacher feedback.
  • Hub 1 team reflection

    Allocate time into our Hub 1 meeting agenda to review how the processes of individual blog posts went and analysis children's reflective thinking.
  • Second Blog Entry and review

    Student post second sample of learning with feedback from each other and teacher. Review and reflect in our team meeting.
  • Staff member parent feedback

    Possibility of selected parents/staff to comment and feedback to students
  • Third & Fourth Blog Entry and review

    Children to post 2 entries a week over a 2 week period. Continue to review and reflect in hub meetings.
  • Post data

    Gather post data from all stakeholders and analysis the data.
