    Eliminated a portion of the individual income tax rate reductions from the 1945 and 1948 tax acts, and increased the top corporate rate from 38 percent to 45 percent.
  • Protest in Seattle for Boston massacre

    The World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference was meant to take place on November 30th, 40,000 anti-globalization activists showed up to the meeting, police had to use tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets to get the crowd to disperse so the delegates could get through.
