    Andrew Jackson was born in r South Carolina on March 15, 1767, the son of iPresbyterian Scotch-Irish immigrants. He didnt exactly go to school but later studied law and became a public prosecutor in present-day Tennessee.Jackson became a land speculator and slave owner, who also developed a reputation for fighting anyone who questioned his athority or messed with his pride.
