  • Nullification Crisis

    Nullification Crisis
    The Tarrif of 1828 hurt southern farmers causing South Carolina to threaten to secede. Jackson got Clay to make a comprimise that helped both sides

    Indian Removal Act
    Georgia kicked indians out of their land into a reserve in modern day Oklahoma. Many indians resisted and were soon defeated, this act caused the Trail of Tears.

    The court case that maintained that indians had a right to remain in Georgia

    Jackson beleived the national bank was too powerful and vowed " I will kill it!" When the charter expired for the national bank Jackson vetoed it.
