    Durning the Revolutionary war, Jackson joined the army at the age of 13 with his brother who died from heat exhaustion.

    This was a major battle when Jackson was in the Revolutionary Army. He helped lead Americans to victory at the battle of Horseshoe Bend. In this battle against the Native Americans there leader Tecumseh died.

    The battle of New Orleans was the final battle of the war of 1812. General Andrew Jackson defeated an invading British army from taking New Orleans. This battle was not needed because they have all ready signed the treaty of Ghent.
