Henry Clay was said to use his influence as the speaker for the House of Representatives to help Adams win. After becoming president, Adams appointed Clay as Secretary of State. This angered Jackson and put a rift between them

    This court case was because Georgia wanted to have the Cherokee's land. This led to the Indian Removal Act. This was also when Jackson told the court that they could enforce the laws if they wanted to because he didn't agree with their ruling. This led to the Trail of Tears.
