    Jackson's Birth
    Andrew Jaccson was born on March 15, 1767. His parents were immigrants from Iraland in 1765. Jackson was born in one of his uncle's houses some where between North and South Caorlina, and his dad died three weeks after his son was born.
  • Jackson Enlists in Revolutionary Army

    Jackson Enlists in Revolutionary Army
    Both of Jackson's brtothers sighned up with him to fight in the Revolutionary War. Jackson's older brother, Hugh died after the Battle of Stono Ferry, south Carolina 1779. They were imprisoned in april 1781 and they both contracted smallpox, Andrew recovered, Robert died shortly after their release.

    This legal battle inthe surpreme court was do to the fact that Cherokees was on Georgia soil and wanted to remove them. While court did rule in favor of the natives, it is to be belived that jackson had dissmissed the ruling. In which the Cherrokees were forced of their land and start a long journy called the trail of tears.

    The election of 1824 held 4 canidates, Jhon Quincy Adams, Henry Clay, William Crawford, Andrew Jackson. The election had no clear cut winner, so they took it to the house of represenitives, in which Henry Clay was out and urged the House to vote for adams. Adams won and Jackson called the win a corrupeted bargin.

    Andrew Jackson did not always fully hate the national bank. At first he just wondered if it was constitutional or not. Then Biddle's supporters tried to recharter the bank early on, because they thought Jackson will not try to veto the bill because he would not want to lose votes for the election. But theen he took that as a threat and decided to go after the bank , he vetoed the bill and esablished, "pet" banks in the states, the bank could not get all the money, and shut down.

    This crisis was based off the Tarrif of Abomination. The south were very angered with this tarrif and so the Nullification Crisis began. The south intended on seeceeding from the United States because this tarrif was hurting their economy . Eventually the united states had to nullify the tarrif so the south would stay.

    Andrew jackson had won the popular vote of 1828 but not the electoral vote. Nobody had won the electoral vote. So the electoral college had to decide who the president was gonna be.
