  • Operation Ranch Hand

    It was the US military operation during the Vietnam war from 1962 until 1972.It was spraying Chemical dust to rural area of South Vietnam which destoryed the farm and vegetables.It was spread to Loas and Combodia border and some of their vegetables and plants were also destoryed after 5 years of spraying.

  • Operation Rolling Thunder

    It was the longest air campaign in American Military history, from March 1965 to November 1968 during the Vietnam war.
    The US ari forces dropped tons of bombs in North Vietnam to surrunder and combine with the South Vietnamese.

  • Gulf of Tonkin Incident

    The sea battle between North Vietnamese Torpedo boats and the US Maddox at the Gulf of Tonkin which is on the East coast of North Vietnam and the West coast of island Hainan. There was no American die but the aircraft was damaged,and some Vietnmese were wounded and the sailors were killed and also the Vietnamese boats were damaged.

  • Gulf of Tonkin Resolution

    It is of historical significance because it gave U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson power that he doesn't need declaration from the Congress to declare war after the Gulf of Tonkin incident.The military actions can take if it is needed in southeast Asia for the members countries.

  • Tet offensive

    The Tet offensive was a series of attack by the Vietcong ( the rebel forces supported by North Vietnamese) and North Vietnamese forces in South Vietnam on the day of Lunar new. It was turning point in Vietnam War.

  • My Lai Massacre

    It was the Vietnam war mass murder of many unarmed civilians in south Vietnam by the US soldiers.. Most victims were women.children and elder people. Some of the women were raped. Some US officers included in the killing at May Lai but only one was convicted.

  • Paris Peace Treaty

    It was signed to end the war and to bring the peace in Vietnam.It was not ratified by the US senate.

  • Fall of Saigon

    Saigon was the capital of South Vietnam. People Army's of Vietnam and National Liberation Front took over the Saigon and ended the Vietnam War. It was lead of the formal reunification of Vietnam into a Communist state.
