    The leaders were William delaplace and Ethan Allen. Ethan Allen captured the fort and provided a base of operations for the invasion of Quebec and interrupted British communication

    The Americans were led by William Prescott and for the British it was William Howe. The importance was that it showed that the inexperienced American troops could hang with the elite British troops

    George Washington beat Hessian mercenaries and then captured Princeton by luring the British in the night.

    Saratoga (Bemis Heights, the second battle)

    British General, Burgoyne led the British for a small victory over american forces led by Harris Gates and Benedict Arnold. The French came back and were defeated by the Americans.

    The patriots led by Colonel William crumble beat the Loyalist led by Patrick Ferguson.

    Siege of Charlestown

    Americas worst loss so far in this war. Major General Benjamin Lincoln surrendered to British Lieutenant General Sir Henry Clinton. A lot of patriots were captured and supply's were restocked for the British.

    George Washington 17,000 French and Patriot troops against Lord Charles Cornwallis Washington makes Cornwallis surrender and this ends the war.
