Was a big war that lasted 7 years and in the end England and the colonies won the war and new land but England had a huge debt afterward.

This was an act that prohibited the colonists from entering the new land and maybe causing a new war with the Natives/Indians

Sugar Act of 1764

This act was for sugar and molasses which the colonists didn't like and it payed for the debt that England had

Stamp Act of 1765

This was another act imposed by the king to have a stamp on all papers, dice, playing cards, newspapers, magazines, etc which the colonists didn't like at all

Boston Massacre

Mar 5, 1770

This was an event that had redcoats from England killing 5 innocent civilians because they were pushing and screaming and just being annoying on purpose to the redcoats

Tea Act of 1773

Apr 27, 1773

This was an act that had people tax on tea and made only a England approved company to sell to the 13 colonies making the colonists mad

Boston Tea Party

This was a response to the Tea Act which was later in the year the Sons of Liberty dressed up as Native Americans and went on the incoming ships and threw the tea into the harbor wasting a lot of money

Intolerable Acts of 1773

This was a response to the Boston Tea Party and what it did was close the Boston Harbor so no incoming ships could come in and no ships from the harbor could leave which meant it limited trading

Battles of Lexington&Concord

These 2 battles were the beginning battles of the American Revolution and the colonists wanted freedom from England so they had a war and this was just the beginning

Olive Branch Petition

This was a Petition which was sent to the king to try and stop it before it broke out even further but the king didn't wanna see it because it was an illegal document by an illegal congress
