The Battle of Yorktown was the very last battle of the American Revolution. General Cornwallis and his troops were approached and surrounded by General Lafayette's platoon and the French Navy. After ever lasting fighting, Cornwallis had surrendered and had signed the Treaty of Paris, ending the American Revolution.
