Coercive/Intolerable Acts
- Boston Port Act = the British demanded that the citizens of Boston pay about 1mil for the tea thrown into the harbour during the Boston Tea Party. (March 31, 1774)
- Massachusetts Government Act = restructured the government of Massachusetts to give the royally appointed more power. (May 20, 1774)
- Administration of Justice Act = ensured a fair trial for British Officials who committed capital offenses while quelling the protests in Massachusetts Bay Colony. (1774)
