    The navigations acts created an act for increase of Shipping, and Encouragement of the Navigation of this Nation. These acts did not successfully control the colonial trade.

    French and Indian war ended with the Treaty of Paris. After this lose France nearly lost all land claims.

    an act of the British Parliament in 1765 that took revenue from the American colonies by adding a stamp duty on newspapers and legal documents. Caused an uproar in the colonies and riots.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The cause of this event was protestors protesting the occupation of their city by British troops. 5 colonists were shot and killed by these troops.

    The act was passed to reduce the amount of tea held by the British East India Company. The Tea Act effectively lowered the price of the East India Company's tea in the colonies

    The Boston tea party was caused by the tax on tea in Boston, Massachusetts. American colonists dumped 342 chests of tea, imported by the British East India Company into the harbor.

    The Declaration of Independence was adopted to give the American colonies independence. This had a huge impact in the Revolutionary War.

    This battle happened because Britain wanted to discourage American allies to not fight with them in the war. After the American victory, France was confident to enter the war as an American Allie.

    The spot of valley forge was used so America could keep an eye on Britain so they did not steal their food. During this winter many soldiers died from disease.

    The French Army wanted to trap Cornwallis in Yorktown. The effect was Cornwallis surrenders and this ended the American Revolutionary War.
