Fought by Great Britain and France, both had allies such as France having the Native Americans and Great Britain with British Government. Fought in North America from 1754 to end with the Treaty of Paris in 1763 with the British being victorious. This gave Britain huge territorial gains in North America, but paying for the wars expenses led to colonial discontent and overall led to the American Revolution.

The Proclamation of 1763 was issued by the British, it affected all 13 colonies. It changed buying land, traveling, trading etc. And was also intended to shield Native Americans from further attacks. It made it so that land west off the Appalachians were off limits and this angered some British who thought they had won the right to settle that land.

The sugar act was enacted in 1764. This act was put in to stop smuggling of non British sugar and to avoid import tariffs. This greatly disrupted the economy of the colonist by increasing the cost of many imported items. This helped lead to the revolution as well with the colonist unhappy once again.

The Stamp Act was enacted in 1765. The act required the colonist to pay tax represented by a stamp on papers, documents, and playing cards. This was a direct tax on the colonist and led to an uproar and was a major cause of the American revolution.

The Quartering Act was enacted in 1765. The act required colonist to welcome British soldiers into their homes and provide food. The colonist resented not because they had to being the soldiers into their home but because they were being taxed to pay for provisions and barracks for the army.

This was between "patriot" mob and British soldiers. This was located on kings street in Boston on March 5th, 1770. When the mob was continuously throwing things such as snowball at or near the soldiers and one of them shot and it ended in a brawl and 5 deaths. Later two of the solders were convicted of man slaughter and it would soon bring the armed rebellion of the colonies to lead to the American Revolution.

The Tea Act was enacted in 1773. The Act was made to reduce the large amount of tea held by the British east India company to help them from struggling. When the people resisted from this act it led to one of the main events that started the American Revolution the Boston Tea Party.

The Boston massace was a protest with American colonist on December 16th 1773 for taxation without representation. They dumped 342 chest of tea into the the harbor imported by the British East India Company. This caused property damage and made the British government angry. The colonies kept showing resistance until they declared they're independence and the American Revolution started.

The Intolerable Acts were laws passed by the British to punish the colonist for the Tea party protest in 1774. The colonist responded by showing unity and having their fist meeting on how to respond and approach the British. This caused outrage and was just another of many reasons for the American Revolution.
