The Proclamation Line did not allow the British to settle on the lands that they aquired from the French even if they happed to own land there already. This was one of the many things that caused the British to be overthrown.

The Currency Act was when the Parliment of Great Britian stopped colonial paper currency from being made. The British came up with a lot of extra rules to make money for themselves and that did not make the people happy. That caused them to revolt.

British Parliment passed a law in 1764 called the Sugar Act. It was strongly enforced that everyone be made to pay tax on sugar, mollasses, and anything else imported into the colonies.

The Stamp Act was used to pay the British troops from the seven years war. Parliment had their leaders tax people on stamps, certain papers, documents, and playing cards. It was also known as the American Colonies Act.

The Townsend Act was when the British taxed everyone on glass, lead, paint, paper, and tea.
