    It was the final straw for the Americans, and it spiked tensions between the British and Americans.

    A tax on tea, which was the most popular unalchoholic drink during that time. They left the tea at port to rot.
    Tea was the most unalchoholic drink that was dranken, and the British put a tax on it.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    Angry rebels that lived in Boston stormed ships carrying tea and dumped 342 chest of tea into the Boston Harvor.
    The Americans dumped the tea that the British were just leaving at port in the Boston Harbon because of the high taxes.
