    President Wilson was elected into office on March 4th, 1913, and served for 8 years, until March 4th, 1921. He led American into World War one and promise safety for our democracy.

    A german boat fires a torpedo into British steam boat, Lusitania. It sinks the boat, and kills 1,195 people including 128 Americans.

    The Teapot Dome Scandal was a bribery scandal involving the Secretary of the Interior and various oil reserves. The secretary leased out oil reserves at low prices illegally, therefore he was sentenced to prison.

    The Holland Tunnel, a road tunnel that runs under the Hudson River in New York is open to the public. Passage across the Hudson was only available by ferry before this.
