    Theodore Roosevelt of New York defeats Democrat Alton B. Parker in a landslide victory assuring his spot as president.

  • William Taft becomes President

    William Howard Taft defeats poor Willian Jennings Bryan in a landslide

  • Woodrow Wilson becomes President

    Woodrow Wilson defeats standing President William Howard Taft unfortunately at a very stressful time for the President.

  • World War One begins

    Archduke Ferdinand of Austria and his wife are assassinated sparking conflict between Austria and Serbia

  • America joins the fight

    Due to the sinking of the Lusitania and Germany's unrestricted submarine warfare and the Zimmerman telegram Woodrow Wilson had no choice but to join the fight on the side of the Allies.

  • The Nineteenth Amendment
