On July 18,1907, Amelia saw the wrights brother's biplane in the sky for the first time. That's when she started to be interesting in flying.

Moving back

On May 8 1909, the family moved back to Des Moines and she begun seventh grade.

Graduation

In 1916, Amelia graduated from Hyde Park High School. Later, she attendended junior college at Ogontz School.
