    The Deceleration of Independence
    This event was when they declared independence from British rule. It was important to the U.S.A. because that signing of the Deceleration of Independence got them out of the British rule and have freedom.
  • The Louisiana Purchase

    The Louisiana Purchase
    The Louisiana Purchase was a big purchase of land that the French sold to America and doubled the size of the U.S.A. The purchase of each acre was 3 cents each acre.
  • The Donner Party

    The Donner Party
    The Donner party was a group of people who traveled west, but took a wrong turn and ending up in a bad situation. They had to start to eat each other because they had no more food.
  • California Gold Rush

    California Gold Rush
    The California Gold Rush started with a guy finding gold in California. The word later then spread everywhere and it attracted 300,000 people to California to find gold.
  • The Great Depression

    The Great Depression
    This event was the most severe economic down-turn in history because it was the dramatic crash of the stock-market. This caused people to not have enough money to buy food or water. It impacted and it was important because the U.S.A. was at an economic down-fall, the stock-market crashed, so people were losing jobs and losing money.
  • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor
    This event was the attack of the Japanese. They attacked Pearl Harbor and more than 2,400 Americans were killed and almost 200 airplanes were destroyed. This was important because it caused War World ll.

    9/11/01
    In this event, the twin towers were hit by two planes. The event impacted everyone, lots of people were grieving because off lost ones. Also, the whole United States was afraid if something will happen somewhere else or hit near them

    This event was the day that touch screen phones were invented. It impacted the whole world because everyone now uses one. This event is so important because this caused all the phones that were invented and it caused how the world works, calling people, texting people, social media, etc.
