    At the age of 22 Turing becomes a Fellow at King's College.

    In 1938 Turing comes to America and attends Princeton to further study Mathematics
  • Development of the Bombe

    The Bombe was a code-breaking machine, developed by Turing and Gordon Welchman during World War II. It helped the allies during WWII and was able to break german codes.

    In 1949 Turing becomes Deputy director and is in charge of the Computing Laboratory. There he works on the Manchester Mark 1 and artificial intelligence. He created an experiment on AI that tried to implement a guideline for machine intelligence. This later became the "Turing Test".
