The International Slayer Association (ISA) is founded.
Driving force was (amongst others) the Akahana Clan from Japan, who proceeded to become one of the major clans of the alliance. -
The psychic clans of Japan, led by the Akahana clan, form an organization in order to fight against the surplus of paranormal beings that the clans aren't able to handle separately anymore. A team consisting of two Akahana's, an exorcist of the Raptis family, and a medium of the Gagneux clan failed a case.
Their opponent, a high ranking demon with a danger rating of 20, wiped them out before committing three massacres.
Those massacres went down in history as the APOCALYPSE, as they left the JSA, FSA, and GSA unable to operate properly and caused the ISA to loose over a hundred teams.
The Demon belonged to the class of 'Princes of Hell', and was nicknamed 'Blazing Inferno'. -
This event almost led to the extinction of the Akahana Clan.
The exact reason why was never quite discovered, but a high-ranking Demon attacked the members of the Akahana clan.
It is suspected to be the result of a failed exorcism.
During the course of one night, many Akahana clan members were found dead, with mutilated bodies.
Five members survived.
Curiously, none of the Vassal Clans were attacked.
In the aftermath, JSA was forced out of business, and 100 of ISA teams had to disband. -
The entire Gagneux clan, a clan specializing in sensing spiritual power, was wiped out overnight.
As a result, the recruiting process of the ISA came to a screeching halt until the Beauchêne family took over.
The Gagneux Clan was part of the FSA and a core family of the ISA. -
The Raptis family was wiped out by the same demon responsible for the previous two massacres.
They were an old family of exorcists, and it's members were commonly recognized as the strongest exorcists across the world.
The Raptis clan was part of the GSA (Greek Slayer Association) and a core family of the ISA. -
