Hinduism was the main religion. Coinage was used as an offering to Buddha. The Kushan Empire expanded greatly over the first two centuries. -

Afghanistan was dividied into two empires, the moghuls and the safavids. The art that was made was of famous people of that time that made an impact. Folklore and legends were told through stories and song writing. -

The paintings of this time were of the struggles the people went through and the landscape around them.
