Amniotic sack now houses the embryo. The embryo is now the size of a seseme seed. The yolk sac will soon yeild its job delivering nutrients to the placenta. -

Eyelid folds now partially cover your babies eyes, A loop of baby's growing intestines are bulging into the umbilical cord. -
Week 9
Baby's eyelids are fused shut and won't open for 27 weeks, baby's touch pads are developing. The baby now has earlobes. -

Baby is litte over 2 inches, Begun swalowing and kicking. All organs and muscles are mature. The changes in the mother are the breasts becme firmer and fuller, She has nausea and is getting fatigue, frequent urination may continue, abdomen becomes larger and her weight gain is 2-4 pounds. -
Week 14
Baby's facial muscles are getting a workout as it squints, frowns, and grimaces. Baby's arms have lengthened, baby is developing lanugo (fine, thin hair, like peach fuzz) -

Second Trimester
Month 4: Mom feels great, morning sickness goes away. Month 5:Her abdomen continues to grow, her appetite increases. Month 6:Baby's heartbeat can now be heard clearly, baby is able to hear. -
Week 16
Baby's scalp pattern is starting to develop, baby has started growing toenails. Baby's circulatory system is now working. -

3rd Trimester
Month 7: Mother is gaining weight like crazy due to the fact that baby is gaining weight. Month 8:Mother gets leg cramps and is feeing more and more uncomfortable, baby is turning upside down getting ready to come out. Month 9: Fetus drops, braxton hicks occur, baby gets crowded and moves around less. -
