Before the Fame
Before her fame on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other major landings, Rae was attending LSU (Louisiana State University) studying sports broadcasting but dropped out shortly after gaining popularity on TikTok in October 2019 reaching 1 million followers. -
Moving to Los Angeles
After her fame transpired on TikTok, Rae moved to California with her family, joining the Hype House which is a house that includes other social media influencers on TikTok. -
Collaborating with A-Listers
Addison Rae soon became close friends with Kourtney Kardashian. The two became best friends after Rae collaborated with Kourtney's son Mason Disick on social media in March 2020. Soon after the two collaborated, Kourtney and Addison began to make YouTube videos and became inseparable ever since. -
Appearaing on "The Tonight Show"
Rae also appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show”, where she performed her first single "Obsessed", following her teaching Fallon doing different types of TikTok dances. -
Rae Expands her Career
After her big move to Los Angeles, Rae began to distance herself from the Hype House and began leaning towards talent agencies such as WME. Throughout 2020 Rae began to further her career beyond social media content. Signing with WME expanded Rae’s ability to model, act, sing, write, podcast and dance.
