  • Proclamation of neturalty

    Don't know exact time.
    The proclamation was made by Washington when france and brittish were in a war. France wanted us to join them, and brittish the same. This said we would not join the fight. The result was that we didn't lose men cause we were not perpared.
  • Ailen and sedition acts

    Don't know exact time.
    This act provided more security against foregeners. This made it so in 14 years, a foregener can become a citizen, allowed to remove dangerous foregeners, deport/imprision foregeners in war time, and penalties for working against goverment.
  • Louisiana Purchase

    Thomas Jefferson bought a huge chunk of land from Europe, that was double the size of normal US. This cost 15 million dollars.
  • War with Triptoi

    Don't know exact time.
    Thomas Jefferson payed Triptoi money for protection against pirates. It enhanced Triptoi's ecomny and our trade ships were protected. They pushed for more money and Jefferson said no so they declaired war. It ended wiht a treaty favoring us and a bigger navy.

    War with Indians

    Don't know exact time.
    Settlers moved into Indian land even thou James Madison made a treaty with them. This resulted in a war. In the battle of Tippecanoe, we lost about 600 men and was a great loss. Eventuly we pushed them out and made them sign a treaty giving them less land and us more land.
  • Monroe Doctrine

    Don't know exact time,
    Europe was losing control in this hemisphere of the world. They were planning on taking back countrys but James Maddison made the Monroe Doctrine, which said that if they tried retaking a country, US will join the fight.
  • Tariff of 1828

    Don't know exact time.
    The tariff made by John Adams put taxes on foreign items. The result was that northern factorys had less competition but south got less money.
  • Indian removal act

    Don't know exact time
    The Indian removal act forced indians out of their land, Andrew Jackson approved of this act. The result was about 4,000 indians died on what is now called "Trail of tears". But we get more land. Yuy.
