First professional development in project based learning. Teachers will get a better understanding around creating lessons that will engage students along with being meaningful and build knowledge. Share template for teachers to use and give feedback on.

Teachers will try one project based learning lesson within their classroom, with the knowledge that we will come back in 2 weeks to discuss and plan further lessons.

Teachers will meet with grade levels to discuss trial lesson and reflect on how it went. Teachers will then create 2 more lessons to present in the next month of their classroom. Use pluses and deltas to address next steps to provide further professional development or support.

Principal and leadership team will meet to create guidelines around the expectations of using PBL, when, why, how often, how much time is set aside for planning.
