    Aboriginal students have to attend residential schools where they learn the morals and values of Caucasian, Christians Canadians. Student were not learning but instead were taught practical skills they were required to maintain the school and its properties.

    About 1000 protesters climbed on top of a train headed to Ottawa so that they could speak to the Prime Minister Richard B. Bennett about the conditions of the relief camps.

    Protesters were stopped at Regina, Saskatchewan (travelling to Ottawa) by police so that they could arrest the protesters but instead a riot broke out. A few protesters were arrested and even some were injured.
