  • Test User Qualifications

    Deveolped by the APA to set up guidlines and qualifications for people admistering tests. Different tests can only be administered by qualified personnel. Tests are broken up into the A, B, and C level. A-level does not require test users to have advanced training. B-level requires that the test administrator have a graduate degree in related discipline. C-level has to have B-level qualifications plus a doctorate.
  • Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974

    This act protects the privacy of students' records.
  • American with Disabilities Act of 1990

    This act was passed by congress to reduce discrimination and make life easier for people with disabilites. One of the main purposes of this bill is to stop employers from discriminating against disabilites in the hiring process, but also in the everyday work day.
  • Code of Professional Responsiblities in Educational Measurement

    This code was created by the National Council on Measurement in Education. The main point of this code is to promote responsible standards and adminstraion in educational assessments.
  • No Child Left Behind Act of 2001

    Requires that schools describe their success by how successful their students are.
