By the attempted assassination of Merlino, there is a second mob war that begins. This war would be bloodier and take more lives than the first war and would only end with Stanfa going to jail. -
Stanfa goes to Jail
John Stanfa is convicted of multiple rackteering, extortion, and murder charges and is sentenced to multiple life sentences. This effectively ends the mob war and put Joey Merlino into power. -
Merlino As Boss
Joey Merlino takes control of the Philadelphia mob and is still considered the mob boss. He has most recently was sentenced back to jail due to a parole violation.
