It started hatered towards Boston.

Boston Tea Party

Dec 16, 1773

Taxing tea heavily so tea was thrown overboard.

Battle of Lexington and Concord

Aug 19, 1775

8 minutemen died, and redcoats moved to Concord. First battle officialy started the revolution.

Battle of Bunker Hill

Jun 16, 1776

The British won but it was a moral victory for the colonists.

Declaration of Independence

Jul 4, 1776

Colonists wanted independence and freedom.

Crossing the Delaware River

Dec 25, 1776

Changing coarse of war making British to move south.

Surrender at Yorktown

Oct 19, 1781

Washington surpised British with an attack in Yorktown and the British were defeated.

Treaty of Paris

Sep 3, 1783

Treaty of Paris was signed officially ending the 8 year war.
