    Washington's army attacks the Hessians, capturing or killing 900 Hessians in the process. Gaining much needed supplies and recieving another win at Trenton. (Battle Of Trenton)

    After the Hessian defeat on Christmas, 8 days later, Washington's army marched down to Princeton were they won again. Even though the British had more soldiers, the Americans got around the British's attempt to surround them.

    A British invasion on the city of Savannah ended with the British gaining control of Savannah. General Campell of the British forces was suppose to wait and meet up with another General and his army, but didn't listen.

    From the British Fort Kaskaskia, Clark marched his troops eastward to Fort Vinvennes. The British didn't see them coming, and once there, Clark scared them into by surrendering with the fake "large army" he said he supposely had.

    John Jones, the commander of the Bonhomme Richard Ship, rammed into the Serapis, a British warship. After a three and an half hour battle of shooting at one anothers ship, the British captain surrendered. But the Richard had so many holes thet the Americans had to get into their enemies boat, sailing away in the Serapis.

    1,000 British soliders surrendered at the border of North and South Carolina, the Americans then killed majority of them. The British had arrived with around 1,000 troops at the base of Kings Mountain, preparing for the Americans to come. They soon realized that the Americans, with almost 1,500 soldiers, we're already up on the Mountain taking positions to take fire on the men below. The U.S. had the advantage of shooting down on the others with more force.

    General Cornwallis set up an army at Yorktown on the Chesapeake Bay where they could receive supplies. Washington's army trapped the British when a French ship blocked the Chesapeake Bay, so they could no longer receive the much needed supplies. Later in October, the British surrendered their 8,000 troops. The battle ended on October 19, 1781.
