Song*After the Tang collapsed the Song dynasty came in and imposed centralized imperial rule. They're attention was put more towards education which gave them a strong bureaucracy, agriculture like the fast-ripening rice, and less on military affairs. The dynasty was divided into North and South by nomadic Jurechen. The second part of the dynasty was ended by Mongol forces.
