    King Phillips war was a battle fought between the English colonists and Natives. The war was fought in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. At first, when the colonists arrived at Plymouth the Natives and the colonists had a peaceful relationship. But when the colonists started expanding into Native territory then the relationship went sour.     The Donner pass was when the settlers were moving west and they took an incorrect route and they hit cold weather. When they hit the cold weather it was very cold and it snowed so much that they could not get out. This made the settlers have to eat each other. This was extremely significant because it changed the way the war was fought forever. Instead of using soldiers to weaken the front lines of your opponent you could just use poison gas in order to weaken your opponent.
