Even in 2010 it is a good processor, that is what our school laptops run on, but at the time this was the fastest processor, because not was it designed to be a fast processor, with two processors inside, but this is a 64 bit designed processor. This came in a solo processor, duo processor, and quad processor. This stayed the fastest of the time for longer than most processors.

These processors come in differnet types of processors. i3 has 4 processors, because when you count processors, it starts at 0, so it has a count of 0-3. This one has three processors. the i5 has 3 processors, but they are faster than the i3. The i7 has 7 processors and even though they don't run at the same rate that the i5 do, they are faster than the i5 because there are more processors, and this adds up to out power the i5.
