  • The beginning

    Spaz gets a message from a runner. ""Your sister lies close to death," the runner tells me. "She wishes to see you one last time. End of message." (Philbrick Pg. 40)

  • The Trip

    They are traviling through the Pipe, and half of it is gone, ""A section of the Pipe is missing up ahead . We'll have to go ground for amile or so." (Philbrick Pg. 62)

  • Meeting Lanaya

    Lanaya was being attacked by Monkey Boys, "Then a different sound come through the howling. A girl shouts, "Keep your distance! I warn you! Leave me alone or suffer the consequences!" (philbrick Pg. 94)

  • With Bean

    Bean is still ill, "Later that night, after we'd made a meal of the edibles, and Little Face entertained us all by singing a song that had only one word...Bean lies on her mat and closes her eyes. So far she hasn't opened them again." (Philbrick Pg. 145)

  • The end

    In the end bean gets to go where she wanted when she was littler, I'm not going to say anymore you'll have to read the book,""We can take her to Eden," says the proov girl." (Philbrick Pg.147)
