  • Declaration Of Ind.

    This enabled all American to recieve the freedom of education.It allowed everyone to go to school and learn to progress their knowledge.The Declaration of Independence allowed all American the right to advance and better themselves.

  • Brown v. Board of Ed

    The Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court case is the case that challenged the fourteenth amendment. This amendment allowed all people regardless of race can be in the same academic environment. I have been affected by this court case because I attended a public school from kindergarten to 12th grade.   • Mrs.Powers's Third Grade Class

    I was placed in Mrs. Powers’s third grade class. Mrs. Powers encouraged us as students to never give up even if something seems hopeless. As math started to progress and began to get harder I started to struggle with division. Many days after school Mrs. Powers would stay after school with me and would assist me with certain problems. Her extra time and effort inspired me as a student and encouraged me to stay positive.
  • No Child Left Behind

    “No child left behind” was signed by President George W. Bush to improve the quality of education for every child in America. This act was passed in the response to low academic achievement of the children in low income school districts. As a student, and an aspiring educator, I find equal education a priority and very serious matter in the field of education
  • Senior Project

    I shadowed a teacher at one of the local schools near my house. In the classroom in which I was placed in many of the children struggled with a variety of learning disabilities. Before coming into this project when I thought of learning disabled I made the assumption that these particular students were not very knowledgeable .I came to realize however that my assumption was wrong and that many of these students were acctually smarter than those who had displayed no disability.
