     The French and the British had a fight over the Ohio Valley. They both. As people began to settle in the frontier, the frontier moved farther and farther west. By 1756, British fur traders had crossed the Appalachian Mountains into the Ohio River Valley. They moved into land that was claimed by both the British and France.

    Once it was clear that the French were going to keep fighting the British hatched a plan. They would take fort Louisburg. They were to take them out by the navy in a battle where the British had more than 14000 men willing to fight. It was clear that victory would not be easy once winter came. The French were winning at the time.

     When the French attacked fort William Henry in 1757 the attack was led by general Montcalm. The fort was located at the southern east area of lake George. After many days of fighting, the British surrendered to the French who had over 2000 Natives from different tribes fighting with them. In the major battle, Montcalm's men killed over 1500 of the British men. Apparently, less than 200 were killed in the after mass which is less than ten percent of the British fighting force.

    They killed 50, scalped 30 and took 150 prisoners. This was one of the Frenches most important victories in the seven years' war. With the Indians on their side, the French proposed an extremely large threat to the British. After this serious attack on the British, the Indians almost became non-existent because of how messy and bloody the war was getting. The French and The Natives staged an attack on the Germans

    The taking of fort Oswego was a series of French victories with in a week 3000 troops under Montcalm's command attacked the British. French were also pared with first nation allies. The French started to win the war after it was winning in Europe and in Canada.

    British have come with 9000 ground troops and 15000 sailors. British begin to bombard the city with cannon fire. Anyone who didn’t get out of town in time is now trapped in the city. The danger is getting killed by bombs or starving to death.
