Jamestown was founded by Capt. John Smith and some other people. Captain John Smith sailed to Jamestown on the ships Susan Constant, The Discovery, and Godspeed. -

Lord de la warr arrives and prevents 250 people from leaving Jamestown. Then he starts rebuilding the failing colony. -
Pocahontase's life
Pocahontas died at age 22. But before she died she savedJohn Smiths life. Married John Rolfe, and had a son with John Rolfe. Pocahontas was born in 1695 and died in 1617. In the movie Pocahontas had a raccoon named Meeko. -

Virginias House of Burgesses meets for the first time. -
Indentured servants and salves
The first indentured servants and African slaves arrive in Virginia. -
The First Law
The Virginia House of Burgesse creates the first law that requires tobacco to be soldfor at least 3 shillings per pound. John Rolfe discoveres tobacco and makes alot of maoney on it and it becomes a cas crop. -
The Great Massacre
Openchanough teh indian leads a Massacre and kills 347 colonists. That starts a war that lasts for almost a decade. -
The Abigal
The Abigal arrives with no food and a load of infected passengers. Later plague and starvation kills about 500 people.
