    Bismark becomes Strong Leader
    Bismark was a very strong leader of Germany and a good prime minister of Prussia. He felt that the state, not the people should have power and authority. He wanted to expand Prussia and believed that Prussia`s destiny is to lead the German people to unification.
  • The Danish War

    The Danish War
    To increase the power and size Bismak started the three unification wars, one was The Danish War. It was a war between Schleswig ans Holstein. Prussia and Austria potested the new Danish constitution. They thought that from demanding this protest it would be revoked, but Denmark refused so Prussia and Austria declared war on Denmark. After three long months of fighting Denmark surrendered in 1864.
  • The Seven Week's War

    The Seven Week's War
    When Prussia influence expanded, Bismark prepared conflict with Austria. Bismark had provoked Austria which turned them wanting to declare war on Prussia. Prussia used advantages of technology and many other things. After a while, The Treaty of Prague ended the Seven Week's War, and Austria gave up to Holstein and gave Prussia,a nd Italy gained Venetia.
  • The Franco-Prussian War

    The Franco-Prussian War
    Bismark persuaded the states that were independent on the southern sides of Germany to join the North German Confederation to complete the unification of Germany. The Franco-Prussian War was very short but decisive. There was a treaty in May which made France occupied by German Troops.
  • Formation of the German Empire

    Formation of the German Empire
    Representatives from the allied German States me in the Palace of Versailles. While there they declared the formation of the German Empire. They decided that the capital of Prussia, Berlin would be the capital of Germany. King William I was made king of the Empire and Bismarck was made the chancellor of Germany.
